Thank you for your interest in Hornberger Antique Firearms and the possibility that you may be interested in making a purchase online. Online sales of firearms have increased significantly in recent years and such purchases are a convenient and effective way to buy antique firearms no matter where you are located. Since all of our firearms and related items are classed as antiques you do not need any kind of license to purchase or ship antique firearms.  

You will be dealing directly with the seller, Patrick Hornberger and unlike gun brokerage sites there is no middle man or auction buyer's fee to pay for your purchase and there are no hidden fees related to the purchase, other than applicable taxes. Maryland residents pay 6% sales tax.  We do not expect you to buy without full knowledge of the item of your interest and we encourage you to contact us for a discussion about the item - either by phone or email. We are not able to put complete details on the website and our information online is simply a brief summary of the item. Naturally, further photographs are available.

ORDERING  & TERMS

After we have settled on your purchase price we will arrange all shipping with firearms normally shipped via UPS in a metal case. Shipping is your expense and unless arranged otherwise it is limited to the USA. Upon receipt of the item, we ask that you return the case (prepaid) - UPS will pick it up. We allow a five-day inspection period to be sure you are satisfied. During that period we ask that you do not remove any part of the gun for inspection without first calling us to discuss any issue. We insure any item being shipped, but we encourage you to attain insurance of your own. If there is any damage to the item (or the case) upon receipt we ask that you contact us immediately. If the item is being returned for credit, you must notify us within the 5 day period - before returning it. Your purchase will be fully refunded less the shipping cost to you upon our receipt of the item. The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received and must be received by us within the 6th or 7th day.
